Jonathan (Joong) Lee - is an alumnus of UCD (Ph.D. in Chemistry '94). Currently, he serves as the pastor for Waypoint Community Church. Before entering full-time ministry, he served as a bi-vocational minister while working as a professor of chemistry at CSU-Sacramento and before that, was a temporary lecturer here at UCD. He has been married to Susanna for 17 years and they have an 14-yr old daughter and a 10-yr old son. He is one of our invited Bible study speakers and has been a part of Koinonia since 1985 while he was a college student at UC Berkeley. He enjoys carpentry, electronics, mowing the lawn, and dares to be a "proud cutting-edge nerd". He has been a spiritual mentor/guide to numerous college students for over 18 years and is eager to have others join in the excitement of the Christian journey. Timothy Rhee - is an alumnus of UCD (Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering '94). Currently, he serves as the pastor for Waypoint Community Church. After working several years at Chevron as a mechanical engineer, he transitioned to the computer industry at Intel. He is married to Alice and they are the parents of two energetic little girls, Hannah and Abby. He is one of our invited Bible study speakers and has been a part of Koinonia at Davis since 1988 when he was a college student at UC Berkeley. The joys of his life include...drinking coffee (instant coffee, cafe', vending machine, just about any kind) and playing basketball with college students.
